Started with a simple observation
Walk into any kirana store, hardware shop, or medical store in India and you'll see the same thing — a busy owner managing customers, suppliers and staff at once. Billing on a counter that never stops. Stock moving every hour. GST records that need to be right every month.
And then, somewhere in the back — a notebook. Or an Excel sheet nobody has updated since last Tuesday. Or accounting software only the CA knows how to operate.
Tally was powerful but built for accountants. Generic apps were too shallow. International software didn't understand Indian GST at all. So we built Accountune from scratch — specifically for India, specifically for small businesses.
